Oklahoma

Before I went on my trip to Neumont university, I happened to go to the Winona Senior High annual play. Of course my camera came along with me, and I managed to get quite a few good photos out of it, despite it being horribly dark, but the stage lighting was good, and I’ve been in places harder to shoot in. But, like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so here is a selection:

Background Information

So, recently I’ve been asked to do backgrounds for the slideshows during the church I attend (www.cbcwinona.org) which, by the way, is getting a major facial reconstruction job here soon. Probably here in a few days. But, since that will be a whole other post, well. I’ll leave you with some of the images that you might be seeing as slide backgrounds at church.

So, have fun, enjoy, and don’t hurt yourself.

Chick-Ah-Dee

Recently I’ve subconsciously begun a photography project to capture birds in different actions, mostly taking place in landing and taking off.

So why Chick-Ah-Dee?

Because there is a large supply of them near where I live and because they are less skittish when you try to get close to them as opposed to some of the brighter and more ‘interesting’ birds. Furthermore I like the patterns and color that they have, they really are one of the most interesting of the smaller birds…

So, here’s some images:

Thanks Peter, the 70-200mm works great for these,
