First Photoshoot of ’09

Unfortunately, I’ve been rather lax in keeping this blog updated, a side effect of large amounts of school and an aversion to computer screens whenever possible (I have an average of 10-12 hours a day just from school) That being said, I’ve still been fairly active taking pictures and I have started doing more portrait and formal photography. A few things have already changed around here, such as posting full size images instead of thumbnails, mainly because I notice that many people will not click on the images to enlarge, either because they don’t notice that they can be maximized or for some other reason. I also am planning to rebuild the visual appearance of my site to allow for a fixed with, which allows me to have more control over my content. And finally, I’ve created a new watermark and branding that I will have to continue fleshing out and will hopefully post soon.

Beyond that, I have some pictures from one of the first shoots I did with some friends up in Minnesota over break with Brady Whealon (http://www.bradywhealonphotograpy.com), and Jordan Ogren (http://www.jordanogren.com), plus a little bit from Peter Boysen (http://www.peterboysen.com)

Enjoy.

Obama Takes Office

As I was watching the inauguration today, I came across the CNN.com homepage and noticed this rather interesting set of information (annotated for effect)

Obama Takes Office, Stocks Drop?

Obama Takes Office, Stocks Drop

Now, I honestly don’t know how Obama’s presidency is going to go and I hope and expect the best, but I found this screenshot humorous and I hope you do to. (small side note, this screenshot was taken about 1/3′d the way through Obama’s inaugural speach)
