Photography

As a photographer, I’m driven to observe and notice thing in the everyday world around me that are so often missed by others. I take photos of whatever interests me: people, places, architecture, landscapes, maybe a piece of trash on the ground; if something about it catches my attention there’s a good possibility I will stop to explore that quirk or nuance in whatever it was I saw. People are by far my most enjoyed subject; people in all their quirks, actions, and expressions. There is a dynamic aspect to people that you can’t find anywhere else and a human connection that others identify with. No matter how many times you take a photo of that new chair, it’s never going to compare to the fluidity of a human being. It’s these traits that are the challenges of a dynamic and ever changing subject matter, and it is these traits that I seek to explore and present in my photography.

Until I’m able to find or build a portfolio or gallery that I’m happy with you should simply look at the photography category of my blog to see my most recent posted work.
