Cool wasn't it?

Cool wasn't it?

I wanted to say thank you for all you mean to me, to all you mean to me. It really has carried me through my life as a whole and through this last year and a half at Neumont. To say that I appreciate it is an understatement, though I may be at the edge of my bank account and thousands of dollars in debt from school, I feel as rich as ever. Having people that will care enough to call when your down, give hugs and care about you when life sucks, to celebrate with you for those high points in your life, and to have people that share their activities and everyday life with you is something that I can’t even place a value on. Each and everyone I know at Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ), Ute-nited, Gateway church, Arrowhead Bible Camp, and everyone back home in Minnesota has made an impact on my life, and I am who I am today because you, your friendship, and the support, encouragement, and sometimes criticism ;) you’ve given. Though I’ve been through my ups and downs, the good times and the bad (How did you ever put up with me in middle school mom and dad?!) I’ve seen the thread of Christ’s hand throughout it and would not trade what I have for anything.

These last few days have been both difficult, easy, encouraging and discouraging, just a whole string of things in a row, but it’s made me realize how much I do depend on those around me. Thanks to each and every one of you for sticking by me, being there for me, and letting me be a part of your life.

God bless, and to those I won’t see before Christmas time, Merry Christmas!

New site design for Arrowhead

I just finished putting the finishing touches on a new site design for Arrowhead Bible Camp, the current site is in great need of an overhall and update, mainly because it is becoming difficult to update the existing content and keep everthing consistent across the entire site.

The new site is based off of WordPress, a PHP based blog and content managment system.  It’s light and extensable and most of all, easy to update.  The theme is based off of K2, a theme that adds a layer of advanced functionality to the existing core wordpress installation and allows for custom styling of that theme.  This is the third iteration of the design concepts for the new arrowhead site, starting from a primaraly white, open site with few images and rounded and angled corners. From there it progressed to primarly K2 style theme with a simple header image, menus, and minimalistic bent. For this last iteration I decided to go with a more modern, image heavy design that I feel portrays the look and feel of the camp much better than the other designs did.

Take a look, tell me what you think: (click to view full size)
