Cool wasn't it?

Cool wasn't it?

I wanted to say thank you for all you mean to me, to all you mean to me. It really has carried me through my life as a whole and through this last year and a half at Neumont. To say that I appreciate it is an understatement, though I may be at the edge of my bank account and thousands of dollars in debt from school, I feel as rich as ever. Having people that will care enough to call when your down, give hugs and care about you when life sucks, to celebrate with you for those high points in your life, and to have people that share their activities and everyday life with you is something that I can’t even place a value on. Each and everyone I know at Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ), Ute-nited, Gateway church, Arrowhead Bible Camp, and everyone back home in Minnesota has made an impact on my life, and I am who I am today because you, your friendship, and the support, encouragement, and sometimes criticism ;) you’ve given. Though I’ve been through my ups and downs, the good times and the bad (How did you ever put up with me in middle school mom and dad?!) I’ve seen the thread of Christ’s hand throughout it and would not trade what I have for anything.

These last few days have been both difficult, easy, encouraging and discouraging, just a whole string of things in a row, but it’s made me realize how much I do depend on those around me. Thanks to each and every one of you for sticking by me, being there for me, and letting me be a part of your life.

God bless, and to those I won’t see before Christmas time, Merry Christmas!

Photowalking Temple Square Utah

For those of you near Salt lake city there was a Photowalk of Temple Square, we had around 15 people there at night in mid December … (read COLD)… the lights were amazing, and despite the cold I had a great time.

As a forward heads up, last I heard there should be a meeting on the 12th of January, some of the group are going to bring some studio lights and pocket wizards and setup a studio lighting try-it-yourself in Draper. According to Rich Legg who arranged to use the Gateway community church sanctuary for the meeting, there will also be a gear sharing table for people to come and try out other cameras, lenses, and other little photographic toy’s plus about 5 models to play with the lighting on.  Should be a great time to come, experiment and learn.  Hope to see you there!
